Dark Beasts require level 90 [[Slayer]] to be attacked. They are some of the highest levelled slayer monsters that can be assigned. Apart from being assigned as a task, the most common reason for these to be killed is if a player is trying to collect [[Crimson charm]]s, as the dark beasts will always drop them.

There are a total of 26 Dark Beasts in the game, spread between five different areas.

*There are two located in the [[Chaos tunnels]]
*There are seven found in the [[Premium training dungeon]]
*There are five found in the [[Ancient dungeon]]
*There are three found on the top floor of the [[Slayer tower]]
*There are nine found in the western side of the [[Revenant cave]]
